GENERAL RULES:



GAME GUARANTEE:

Each team is guaranteed four games. If you plan to participate in one or more of these events, we encourage you to enter your team as soon as possible as these events are growing in popularity and the spots available are limited.

ASA REGISTRATION:

Any team planning to participate in an ASA sanctioned tournament must be registered with the organization. The registration fee is $30.00. A team must have verification of its registration at the tournament site or be subject to a $30.00 fee. If you are not registered with the ASA, please include this amount with your entry fee.

REFUND POLICY:

A $35.00 administrative charge per team will be charged on all refunds. A team will receive a refund if they withdraw from the tournament prior to the entry deadline date. No refund will be given to a team if they withdraw on or after the deadline date unless a team is found to take their place. If a tournament is canceled or halted due to inclement weather, the team will receive a credit to a future CSA activity.

GAME RULES:



 PAPERWORK:

*All managers are required to have their completed paperwork (i.e. official roster, proof of ASA insurance/registration, birth certificate, etc.) available upon request by the tournament director or site supervisor. Failure to have this information available upon request may result in forefeiture of all games and/or elimination from the tournament, as well as loss of all previously paid fees.

*Any changes to a team roster must be made with the tournament site director prior to the start of a team's first game.

GENERAL GAME PLAY:



*Home team will be the official book.

*Infield warm-ups between games will not be permitted.

*Metal cleats are not permitted at any time.

*Game time is forfeit time.

FAST-PITCH ASA GAME PLAY:

*A ten run rule after four completed innings or seven runs after five completed innings will apply for all games except the Championship Game. The Championship Game will have a ten run after five innings.

*All games except the Championship Game will have a one hour and twenty minute (80 minutes) time limit. The Championship Game shall not have a time limit.

*For the purpose of seeding only, games that end in a tie after time has expired shall not continue. Each team will be awarded half a win.

*FOR SEEDING GAMES ONLY: If a team has a ten-run lead when time expires, the DROP DEAD RULE shall be applied.

*The international tiebreaker rule will be used in all single elimination tournaments.

*The Catcher/Pitcher speed-up rule shall be in effect for all games.

ADDITIONAL RULES:

*Please review your official paperwork packet for notice of all rule updates and changes. It will be the responsibility of the manager to be up-to-date with any and all information.
*The tournament or site director will resolve all protests.

AWARDS:



*The winner of the tournament shall receive a team trophy as well as individual awards. The second place finisher will receive a team trophy. If eight teams enter an event, individual awards for second place will be given. In general, the first place awards for the winners of the tournaments will either be trophies, sweatshirts, tote bags, pro-team t-shirts or button-down baseball shirts. The second place awards will be trophies.

*Teams who wish to participate in one of our tournaments need to fill out an official roster. (Located Here). Please make personal checks or money orders payable to CSA. The mailing address is:

*We will try to have the tournament brackets and other applicable information mailed to you prior to the event. However, if you have not received the information by Wednesday of the week of the tournament, please call that night between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM for your game time. Again, it is the responsibility of the manager of the team to know what time their squad needs to be at the field.
